Bundles

One feature that Meteora Navigator users can take advantage of is to search for “bundles” in tokens on the Solana blockchain. Many Meteora pool liquidity providers and traders pay close attention to bundles when selecting a token to LP or trade.

What are "bundles"?

“Bundle” is an association of wallets that buy the same token within the same set of transactions at the same time. It is very likely that such “bundles” belong to one person or a group of people (sometimes turning out to be a team of token developers). The concentration of a significant number of tokens in “bundles” creates a risk of a potential decrease in the price of a token due to a large volume of sales.

Many traders and liquidity providers try to avoid tokens that see a large number of coins in “bundles”.

How do you keep track of them?

With TrenchRadar. Example: you may see a “Bundles” button in messages sent by the Meteora Navigator bot

When clicking on it, the user goes to TrenchRadar. The user, tracking “bundles”, saw such a picture in the case of one of the tokens:

Let's talk more about the information provided to TrenchRadar users.

  1. Ticker - token ticker

  2. Total Bundles - number of bundles

  3. Sol Spent - Amount of SOL spent to buy tokens in bundles

  4. Bundled Total - the portion of the total number of tokens contained in bundles in percentage terms

  5. Held Percentage - the number of coins bought and held by wallets from bundles at the moment (in percentage)

  6. Held tokens - number of tokens held by wallets from bundles (in pcs.)

  7. Bonded - an indicator of whether the token has migrated to Raydium or not

The circles that can be seen in the middle are the “bandles”. The percentage of supply they contain is indicated, as well as the category: for example, team, new wallet (all designations can be seen on the right).

It is also worth noting that gray color marks empty bundles (tokens sold).

In this example (shown in the image above), 35.45% of the total number of tokens were “bundled" and 37.98 SOL were spent. The coins were sold, and there are only 47.3 thousand tokens left in the "hold" (with Held Percentage being 0.00% of the total number of tokens).

Note: We especially advise you to pay attention to the number of bundles, their share in the total number of tokens and the number of SOLs spent on the purchase. The higher these values, the higher the risks.

Thus, in the process of choosing a token for LP, along with other factors (we talked about them in the section: Memcoin Research or How Not to fall victim of the market), it is worth paying attention to bundles. It doesn't take much time, but it significantly reduces risks.
